~Today, as I am purposely adding this prayer, it is September 8th,
Mother Mary's Birthday feast!
I am so honored to be able to add this here, today, as my "gift" to Her.
Every year, during the renewal of my consecration preparation, in 1979, I recite the first version of this prayer with other prayers as I prepare myself for the anniversary of my Total Consecration To Jesus through Mary, by St. Louis de Monfort's way.
I love this prayer, know it by heart now, it surprised me when I came upon the other version. Both mean the same but worded differently, I love the second one also for it makes me reflect in an altogether different way. I even may use both next year when I do my yearly preparations.
Mother Mary, as a earthly creature, is the only one, along with Jesus, who LOVES me and understands me totally.
I do not have to prove nothing to her, for, she sees and knows it all!
